Artist Biography
Naomi Jane's qualifications include an GNVQ, AVCE and Foundation in Art and Design specialising in Textiles, an NCFE in Illustration and a Certificate of Higher Education in Textiles and Surface Design. A lifelong interest in Knitting, Clothes and Surface Design has cumulated in the creation of this business selling Couture Knitwear, Homeware and Accessories. She also does Illustration, Embroidery, Millinery, Surface Design and Image conversion to order.

Night of a Thousand Stars
The night has a thousand stars, try to count them in your beloved's eyes. Never mind the glow in the sky turn and feast your eyes on the wonder that is the Thousand Star neck piece made from pure blue cotton and decorated with hundreds of sparkling seed beads. This started out as a more lavish version of Pompadour but soon realised that I couldn't stop thinking about the night sky when I walked through our woods a couple of nights ago when I couldn't sleep. The stars were shining so incredibly bright and the sky far from being dark as I would have imagined was this amazing blue that was more suited to a summer evening then deep in the mists of the wee small hours.

Inspired by the sight of buttermilk frothing into a white china jug this lace laden triple layered ruff sits snugly to your neck giving instant elegance.

A long title but certainly worth it. Crochet in a light green with a ruffles top and even longer ruffles at the bottom with a duck egg greeny corset lace up front babywool/ribbon.
